The reputable tourism institution ITTA Foundation announced 200 nominees under 55 categories for its annual tourism awards. Devdan Show claimed a spot in Tourism Attraction category as one of Indonesia’s Leading Tourism Show nominees. The voting has been rolling in the last few days.
Devdan Show portrays the colorful Indonesia through a theatrical performance, involving 38 performers. It presents dances from some parts of Indonesia, including Bali, Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan and Papua. The educative extravaganza includes countless stage effects such as torrential rain pours, flame bursts as well as different types of aerial ballet.
“We are committed to promoting the richness of the archipelago. What you can see in Devdan Show is a preview of what to expect within the 17,000 islands chain,” explains HandariHimawan, the General Manager of Bali Nusa Dua Theatre, the operator of the show.
“We’re grateful to be nominated in the ITTA,” Handari continues. “It is another great moment to penetrate wider audience and introduce to them how beautiful Indonesia is,” she said.
