Grand Final of Teruna Teruni Bali 2017 held at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre – Devdan Show on 24th September 2017. Teruna Teruni Bali is most wanted Tourism Ambassador Bali and it is routinely done every year since 2013.
This event was held to filter out the young men and women as the forerunner of Tourism Ambassador Bali. Their enthusiasm is greater than previous year, and in 2017, the participants are registered more than 100 people and they filtered out to be 18 participants. Then, they participate in various rounds of selection. It started with pre-quarantine, quarantine, culture night, press conference, and grand final.
“Teruna Teruni Bali is a great event to find the Tourism Ambassador Bali, and we expect they can promote Bali tourism nationally and internationally.” said Handari Himawan, General Manager of Bali Nusa Dua Theatre.
The implementation of Grand Final Teruna Teruni Bali 2017 was spectacular, it supported with collaboration performance of Devdan Show and Teruna Teruni Bali 2017 finalists. The event also supported with rotating stage, international standard sound systems and lighting.
Devdan Show is a 90-minute performance showcasing the culture of Indonesia through the combination of traditional, aerial, and contemporary dances. The story starts with 2 kids finding five cultural things from five big islands in Indonesia: songket from Sumatera, keris from Java, udeng from Bali, horn from Kalimantan, and koteka Papua.
